Michelle
Caron-Pawlowsky

Michelle Caron-Pawlowsky is a multidisciplinary artist from Montreal. Her work centres long-term processes of healing, the sentimental value of objects and collections, and the incredibly mutable act of reconstructing memories over time. Drawing from individual and collective histories as a point of departure, she makes research-based work that acts as a vehicle for a pilgrimage through personal mythologies and communal experiences.
In 2018 she co-founded Colure Collective, a collective dedicated to sharing contemporary work from emerging artists in Quebec with the local community and beyond through exhibitions, publications, and events. Colure's first publication, In Continuum, will be released this year.
