I Never Kept a Diary, 2021

I Never Kept a Diary is an ongoing, autobiographical project that combines ceramics, text, and photography. This project engages with the history of narrative pottery and explores how ceramics can be used as vehicles for diaristic storytelling. Using intimate, inscribed text fragments in both English and French and alternative photographic printing methods, these ceramic vessels address themes such as mental illness, isolation, medical history, forgiveness, and self-acceptance.
